History
In the futuristic New Domino City, walled off from the slum of Satellite, former Duel Runner mechanic Yusei Fudo is arrested and forced into the Fortune Cup. He discovers the Signer Marks binding him to four other marked duelists, including his rival Jack Atlas, to face supernatural threats tied to the Dark Signer King and his old gang, Team Satisfaction.
World
New Domino City, a futuristic megalopolis stratified between the wealthy and the excluded, where duels are fought on motorcycles in Turbo Duels.
Legacy
5D's introduces Synchro Summoning, a major game mechanic still used today, along with the Duel Runner concept iconic to the saga.
